Also at ars electronica and also about AI:

AI and Property Relations: Who Owns Our Collective Knowledge?

   Thu 10. Sep 2026 12:00 - 14:00
Main Square Linz (at the "attac booth")

   https://ars.electronica.art/negotiatinghumanity/en/view/ai-and-property-relations-who-owns-our-collective-knowledge-39238ddb450c814d959bcb7e64564979/

and then immediatly after that at a nearby location and also related by topic:

Panel Discussion: Basic Income for Artists - Ireland as a Model?
  https://grundeinkommen.at/a/2026-basic-income-for-artists/

   When: Thursday 10. September 2026, 13:30
Where: Ursulinenhof Linz, Landstraße 31, Gewölbesaal, As part of the Ars Electronica in Cooperation with GrundeinkommenAttac

For ages people have been indoctrinated about the importance of so called
"intellectual property". Now the big AI corporations have no problem to
steal it all in 100TB chunks.- So it should be possible to use the moral
outrage to construct the demand that all this AI systems belong to all of
humanity in the first place and thus hold the power of these corporations in
check a bit..

... but I am curious on how the artists will react to this ideas. Like two
decades ago when we (IT guys) suggested that open sourcing things would help
against capitalism then artis where a bit reluctant. So I really look
forward to the discussions.

mond

btw: we are in contact with the kronsdorf protests. their flyers shold be
available the attac booth.
