Enwezor, Jan Verwoert, Florian Pfeffer, Marina AbramoviÄ, Ãlafur Eliasson, Liam

Performing Encounters is a series of salons invited by Yvonne Reiners. A meeting
point and a room for discourse and friendly optimism. Transdisciplinarity will
always be inherent, emerged from the social function of the salon. The salon has
the transforming potential to question hierarchies and to intervene - be it as link to
fluidity or to the disrespect of boundaries. The subjects of the salons will be the
role of creativity and collaboration, particularly the role of networking; gaming as
artistic practice; the political dimensions of encounters at dinner.
Started in 2014, Performing Encounters is hosted by different Berlin- based
institutions like the KÃnstlerhaus Bethanien, the District Kunst-und
KulturfÃrderung, Grimmuseum or Kreuzberg Pavillon.

Performing Encounters ist eine Serie von Salons, zu denen Yvonne Reiners
einlÃdt. Ein Treffpunkt, ein Ort fÃr Diskurs und freundschaftlichen Optimismus.
TransdisziplinaritÃt wird immer inhÃrent sein, hervorgegangen aus der sozialen
Funktion des Salons. Der Salon hat das transformierende Potential Hierarchien
anzuzweifeln und zu intervenieren - sei es als eine Verbindung zu Fluss oder der
Missachtung von Grenzen. Die Themen der Salons werden sein: die Rolle von
KreativitÃt und Kollaboration, insbesondere die Rolle des Netzwerkens; Gaming
als kÃnstlerische Praxis; die politischen Dimensionen von Begegnungen wÃhrend
des Essens.
Performing Encounters, gegrÃndet 2014, wird von verschiedenen in Berlin
ansÃssigen Institutionen veranstaltet, wie KÃnstlerhaus Bethanien, the District
