Donderdag 05/03/2015: PechaKucha Night Oostende

In deze tweede editie van PechaKucha Night Oostende The artist in the city buigen we ons opnieuw over de stad als bron van innovatie voor de uitdagingen op het vlak van duurzaam samenleven. Een bijzonder specimen in de menselijke zoo is de kunstenaar. De tijd dat die zich enkel verhield tot het atelier en het museum of de galerie is al lang voorbij. De kunstenaars die hier een presentatie brengen staan middenin de maatschappij. Ver weg van het Art pour l'art-principe grijpen ze elk op hun eigen manier in op het stadsweefsel en brengen ze debatten op gang.

Tuesday 10/03/2015: Campustalks International Women's Day

In its events Crosstalks always aims for a good gender balance, except for once a year: International Women's Day. On that day we celebrate the achievements of women, while calling for greater equality, just as Patricia Arquette did last Sunday in her Oscar speech. For this 104th edition we give the floor to eight inspiring researchers, actresses en businesswomen.
