Provisions Research Residents Nate Larson (Baltimore), Anne Elizabeth Moore (Chicago), Tim Schwartz (LA), and Greg Bloom (DC) present creative research findings on the theme of Copy Rights. These artists/researchers have spent the last three weeks in the capital exploring individual and collective authorship in the digital age. Their research themes include public webcams and drones, open access data directories, gender and intellectual property, and subversions of the patent code. More about the Copy Rights Project here.
Afterwards, drinks and discussion celebrate the residency, with music AND a housewarming for FURTHERMORE's NEW + IMPROVED SECRET HQ.

About Provisions
Provisions Library partners with local, national, and international organizations to produce contemporary art, creative research, and public learning that activate resources for social change. Provisions projects generate shared knowledge, diverse perspectives, and imaginative action--including a library holding a collection of 5,000 art and social change books at George Mason University, the floating lab collective producing interactive public art projects, research residencies that bring 16 national and local artists to the capital to investigate social change themes, and knowledge commons dc, a free school that organizes learning sourced from DC community members in partnership with organizations across the city. Projects include readings, exhibitions, artist talks, tours, screenings, and public happenings that invigorate and activate culture in the Washington DC and beyond.
